Take your French further: shade your meaning with adverbs (vraiment, assez, trop, un peu, souvent), link your ideas with connectors (parce que, donc, mais, alors, pendant que), and tell a story in the past by contrasting the imparfait (the scene) with the passé composé (the event). Then make polite requests and suggestions with the conditionnel (je voudrais, j'aimerais, on pourrait) and give your opinion with nuance (je pense que, à mon avis, peut-être).
