Linking two ideas in Arabic: اَلَّذِي and اَلَّتِي

• Complete, to say “The girl who is speaking is my cousin”: اَلْبِنْتُ ___ تَتَكَلَّمُ هِيَ بِنْتُ عَمِّي.
• What does اَلْمَدِينَةُ الَّتِي وُلِدْتُ فِيهَا mean?
• Complete, to say “This is the book I read”: هٰذَا هُوَ الْكِتَابُ الَّذِي ___
• The car in front of the house is my father’s. Complete: اَلسَّيَّارَةُ [____] أَمَامَ الْبَيْتِ لِأَبِي.
• The teacher who teaches us Arabic is Egyptian. Complete: اَلْمُعَلِّمُ [____] يُعَلِّمُنَا الْعَرَبِيَّةَ مِصْرِيٌّ.
• In اَلْبَيْتُ الَّذِي كَبِرْتُ فِيهِ, the word فِيهِ means “where” (in which).
• You use اَلَّتِي after a masculine noun such as اَلرَّجُلُ.
